Job Description">

Road trains transport livestock, petroleum and bulk commodities across Western Australia, Northern Territory and Queensland in a fleet of over 90 prime movers.

Established in the north for over a decade, our business seeks a skilled Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic to work on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be paid between $38 per hour and $50 per hour, plus superannuation.

The Role:

  • Maintenance of equipment to ensure roadworthiness
  • Servicing, repairs, and checks on heavy-duty road trucks
  • Maintenance of completed work records to a high standard

Responsibilities Include:

  • Servicing and repairing heavy-duty road trucks to maintain their roadworthiness
  • Maintaining accurate records of completed work
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Trade qualifications as a Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic
  • A valid HR/MC license (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to undergo and clear a medical and drug fitness assessment
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
