Counsellor And Psychotherapist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Counsellor/Psychotherapist to join our growing team. This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of adults and children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one counselling services to clients with complex mental health issues, physical disabilities, or everyday challenges
  • Develop and maintain case notes and administrative records for each session
  • Complete home visits and clinic sessions as needed, promoting flexibility and work-life balance
  • Liaise with Allied Health team members regarding case management and client referrals
  • Participate in team meetings and supervision to foster growth and collaboration

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Demonstrated passion for continuing professional development in clinical and non-clinical areas
  • Strong written communication skills, with ability to produce clear and concise reports
  • Confidence in your role, with openness to feedback and opportunities for growth
  • Current registration with a relevant professional body (e.g., PACFA, ACA)
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Current professional Indemnity Insurance, Working With Children Check, and National Criminal Record Check
