Role Overview

Catholic Healthcare is seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join their team at Villa Maria home in Fortitude Valley. As a key member of the facility's maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the property and providing exceptional care to residents.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to daily operations
  • Assist with break down repairs, planned preventative, and minor project works
  • Collaborate with the Residential Manager to identify and prioritize maintenance tasks

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of maintenance requirements in aged care settings
  • Excellent communication and technical skills
  • Ability to provide technical advice and produce reports
  • Physical fitness to perform duties
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of WH&S requirements
  • Strong IT skills
  • Current unrestricted Class C NSW Drivers Licence
  • NDIS check or willingness to obtain
  • Relevant trade certificate
