About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinician to join our Mental Health Forensic Assessment and Consultation Team (MHFACT) at Monash Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical service enhancement to patients, their families, and treating teams
  • Work with patients presenting with mental health conditions and a range of forensic issues
  • Conduct primary consultations with patients, secondary and tertiary consultations with a patient's service system
  • Provide risk assessment reports using structured professional judgement tools
  • Develop and implement enhanced treatment plans
  • Coordinate case conferences with a patient's key stakeholders
  • Provide specialist interventions and use brokerage
Requirements
  • Senior specialist multidisciplinary team experience
  • Strong clinical skills and expertise in forensic mental health
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of patients across South-Eastern Victoria
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
