Senior FPGA Engineer Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled FPGA engineer to join our technology team in Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and delivering hardware-accelerated solutions, as well as guiding a team of engineers.

You'll work on designing FPGA solutions to accelerate critical areas of trading infrastructure, from concept through to production, covering hardware selection, FPGA design, simulation, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop FPGA solutions to accelerate trading infrastructure.
  • Lead and mentor a team of FPGA engineers in the design, verification, and implementation of RTL designs (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, or HLS).
  • Implement solutions end-to-end, from board level to API, and deploy into production environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, traders, and strategy developers to integrate hardware and software solutions.
Requirements:
  • Strong expertise in FPGA design and architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, or HLS.
  • Knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP preferred.
  • Prior exposure to financial markets or trading systems is highly valued but not essential.
  • Natural curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and a drive to innovate and push technology forward.
