Job Overview:

The role involves designing and delivering hardware-accelerated solutions, leading a team of FPGA engineers, and collaborating with trading and strategy teams to create industry-leading systems.

  • Design and implement FPGA solutions to accelerate critical areas of trading infrastructure.
  • Lead and mentor a team of FPGA engineers in the design, verification, and implementation of RTL designs (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, or HLS).
  • Implement solutions end-to-end, from board level to API, and deploy into production environments.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, traders, and strategy developers to integrate hardware and software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in FPGA design and architecture, hands-on experience with VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog or HLS, and knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP. Prior exposure to financial markets or trading systems is highly valued but not essential.

The successful candidate will be a natural problem solver with a drive to innovate and push technology forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative FPGA-based solutions for high-performance applications.
  • Manage and motivate a team of FPGA engineers to achieve project goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve FPGA design methodologies to optimize performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of FPGA design principles and architectures.
  • Proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, or HLS programming languages.
  • Experience with FPGA development tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
