Executive Beverage Director

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Beverage Director to lead the development of our beverage strategy. As the driving force behind our beverage vision, you will oversee the entire beverage operation to ensure world-class standards of service, profitability, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and develop a high-performing beverage team through effective leadership and mentorship.
  • Develop and execute innovative beverage menus, from signature cocktails to premium wine lists, that drive revenue growth and exceed guest expectations.
  • Manage supplier partnerships, stock control, and cost of goods to maintain profitability and optimize resources.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective pricing, forecasting, and sales management.
  • Deliver training programs to ensure excellence in product knowledge and service, resulting in improved guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain compliance with licensing, health, and safety regulations to minimize risk and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate the overall guest experience and create memorable moments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years' experience in a senior beverage leadership role within luxury hotels, lifestyle venues, or high-end hospitality.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing people and driving business results.
  • Exceptional knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and emerging trends, with certifications such as WSET III being highly regarded.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets, supplier negotiations, and inventory control.
  • Creative flair, with the ability to design and execute innovative beverage concepts that exceed guest expectations.
  • A customer-centric mindset with a commitment to creating exceptional experiences and driving loyalty.
