Paper Conservation Team Leader

**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Paper Conservator to lead our team in a wide variety of site and lab-based projects. The ideal candidate will have a high level of hands-on technical skills for various project situations, with the ability to make positive contributions in a team environment while also working independently.
The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of insurance jobs, often with support from casual staff, as well as consulting with clients and colleagues to quote on and undertake all technical aspects of conservation and client liaison.
Disaster response is also a key component of the work, which covers health and safety planning and recovery of items damaged by fire, flood, and other emergency events.
Other responsibilities may include project planning and implementation, job budget management, time management, subcontractor liaison, disaster response, WHS in the lab, and report writing.
