Job Title: Support Professional

The opportunity to provide direct support to women and children experiencing domestic violence is a meaningful one.

  • Support the delivery of practical and emotional care to clients in accordance with trauma-informed practices
  • Assist with daily operations, including record keeping and accommodation services
  • Support group programs and activities for clients
  • Advocate for clients with external agencies when required
  • Work closely with case management staff to ensure client needs are met
  • Provide safe transport for clients when needed

Your Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in community service
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a supportive approach
  • Experience using client databases and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Excellent judgment, confidentiality, and crisis management skills
  • Current First Aid certification and NSW driver's license
