**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking a skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students.

About the Role:

This is a Permanent Part-Time (28 hours per week) position that requires a high level of support and assistance in school routines, classroom activities, and the care and support of students with disability.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and external stakeholders to achieve student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance in school routines, including classroom activities and the care and support of students with disability.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and external stakeholders to achieve student outcomes.
  • Administer assessments, deliver interventions, and implement adjustments required for individual students and groups of students under the direction of a teacher.
  • Support student enrolment and transitions, as well as knowledge about relevant Disability legislation and the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data.

Requirements:

  • A clear understanding of and a personal commitment to supporting students with disability.
  • Experience working with students with disability (K-12).
  • Demonstrated ability to work under the direction of a teacher, collaborate with school staff, and communicate effectively with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number, completion of anaphylaxis training, and Certificate III or IV in School Based Education Support (desirable).
