Urgent Care Healthcare Support Professional

The Urgent Care Enrolled Nurse role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care at our healthcare service.
About the PositionAs a key team member, you will work closely with Registered Nurses to provide top-notch support to patients. You will have opportunities to enhance your skills in various areas, including wound care and assisting in procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist RNs in providing high-quality care for injuries or illnesses.
- Carry out various care activities such as administering vaccinations, wound care, plastering, and patient education.
- Conduct diagnostic tests relevant to patient conditions as directed by RNs.
- Support work cover injury management and phlebotomy (if applicable).
- Ensure patient care activities are within scope of practice and align with our policies and procedures.
- AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse is mandatory.
- You must be available evenings and weekends.
- Experience in primary care settings with a focus on chronic disease management, prevention, and health promotion is desirable.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
