Urgent Care Nursing Professional

As a dedicated healthcare professional, you play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. Your expertise as an urgent care nurse is crucial in providing timely and effective interventions that make a significant difference in the lives of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for triaging all patients who present to the urgent care service, utilizing your skills and knowledge to assess their needs and provide appropriate care.
- Conduct comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments, identifying any potential health risks or concerns that require immediate attention.
- Work collaboratively with the medical team to ensure seamless care delivery, escalating any critical situations promptly and effectively.
- Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering, demonstrating your technical skills and attention to detail.
- Exhibit adaptability and flexibility in the dynamic urgent care environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently to meet the needs of patients and the team.
About You:
- AHPRA registration as a nurse is essential, along with a passion for delivering people-centered care that puts patients at the forefront of everything you do.
- Ability to recognize and respond to health deterioration, exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, both verbally and written, to effectively collaborate with colleagues and communicate complex information to patients and families.
- Capacity to work autonomously and delegate tasks appropriately, leveraging your leadership skills to optimize team performance and achieve desired outcomes.
