About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in an urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in triage, assessment, and management of patients with various medical conditions. They will work collaboratively with our medical practitioners to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage and assess patients presenting to the urgent care service
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Work collaboratively with medical practitioners to provide high-quality patient care
  • Perform procedural work such as suturing and plastering as required
  • Deliver person-centered care, ensuring patients receive respectful and empathetic treatment
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently

Requirements

  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in triage, emergency department, or ICU settings preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
