Clinical Nurse Practitioner

Calvary Home Care is seeking a skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our team on the beautiful Bathurst Island. As a key member of our care team, you will work alongside our Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to our clients, who require support with daily living activities. You will be responsible for delivering clinical and nursing duties as delegated by the Registered Nurse and/or requested by the Service Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and nursing duties as delegated by the Registered Nurse and/or requested by the Service Coordinator.
- Work within the professional and legal boundaries pertaining to an Enrolled Nurse.
- Maintain clinical skills by participating in training programs as required, including mandatory training such as First Aid, annual CPR, and manual handling.
- Liaise with the Registered Nurse, General Practitioner, and/or carers regarding clients' well-being and report any concerns immediately.
- AHPRA Registration current
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in community nursing or residential aged care nursing
- Full Driver's Licence
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Initiative and a desire to continually improve client care
- Ability to prioritise tasks and achieve goals within set timeframes
- Candidates with an understanding of the community nursing sector, including Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs, and Commonwealth Home Support Program, will be considered favourably
- Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one
- NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain one
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
