Parts Interpreter

We are seeking a skilled Parts Interpreter to join our team at Tecside Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing efficient and accurate parts advice, dispatch, and administrative services to our clients and customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and provide the correct spare parts to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Provide backup support for parts operations across various regions, including VIC/TAS, WA/SA/NT, QLD, and New Zealand
- Offer spare part product information to customers and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with customers and other departments to maximize sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction
- Monitor and optimize parts processes, including stock control and inventory management
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring timely and professional communication
- Process and invoice internal and external customer sales orders
- Run and review transactional reports to identify exceptions and areas for improvement
- Participate in regular stock take activities and maintain accurate records and files
- Liaise with service and sales personnel to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Comply with occupational health and safety requirements and company policies
- Provide administrative support, including report development and maintenance of accurate records
- Offer on-the-job training and development opportunities to team members
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) and Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
- Previous experience in a fast-paced spare parts department
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in literacy and numeracy
- Ability to determine and address customer needs
- Operational knowledge of lifting and working at heights equipment
- Sales skills, including up-selling techniques
- Report writing and technical skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Self-development and continuous learning
