Job Opportunity: Quality Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Improvement Specialist to provide specialist quality management advice to operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Catalyze Operational Excellence: Coach, advise, and support local operational teams to build capability and capacity in auditing, accreditation, complaints, and incident management.
  • Contribute to Team Efficiency: Contribute towards the efficiency and effectiveness of our Residential Aged and Health Care team.
  • Implement Quality Strategies: Lead and facilitate local implementation of stream-wide quality management strategies, initiatives, and plans.
  • Enhance Service Delivery: Enable Service Managers to implement effective quality improvement activities including auditing and complaints and incident management.
  • Provide Expert Advice: Provide specialist advice at the local level in clinical governance and quality.
Requirements
  • Quality Expertise: Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality improvement role within a medium to large organisation.
  • Complaints Management: Demonstrated experience in providing advice into complaints management and clinical investigations.
  • Quality Knowledge: High-level understanding of contemporary approaches to quality management in the health and/or aged care industry.
  • Purpose-Driven Individual: Demonstrated passion for social change and contributing to an organisation that makes a difference.
  • Relationship Builder: Skilled at navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing through influence rather than direct authority as required.
