">We are seeking a skilled in-house lawyer with strong commercial contracting experience to join our team of Legal Consultants. As a General Commercial Contracting Lawyer, you will be responsible for helping power the engine room of leading legal teams by providing high-quality legal services.
Our clients rely on us to step into essential interim roles and deliver high-impact work in the commercial contracting space. If you bring solid general commercial expertise and any of the following skills, we could be the partner you are looking for to help transform your career.
As a Legal Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients across various industries, including financial services, FMCG, energy and resources, government and public sector, construction and infrastructure, education, hotels, leisure and gaming, mining, TMT and transport.
Your key responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with suppliers and service providers, as well as providing legal advice relating to competition and consumer law, privacy, product safety, quality and labelling.
In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interface at all levels, build strong relationships externally and internally, and have excellent client service focus, ethic and commitment.
You must also have the right to live and work in Australia and hold or be able to obtain a current practising certificate.

- 4+ years' experience in commercial contracting
- Strong general commercial contracting experience
- Ability to draft and negotiate commercial contracts
- Excellent legal knowledge and understanding of commercial contracting principles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Right to live and work in Australia
- Current practising certificate
