Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Procurement and Contracts Manager to join our team at Zenviron, a joint venture between Monadelphous and ZEM Energy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all activities related to the provision of construction and subcontractor contract management.

Zenviron is a market leading engineering, procurement, and construction services contractor specialising in the design and construction of large-scale renewable energy projects in Australia. Our company philosophy is based on empowering people and encouraging innovation and creative thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating and managing contractual arrangements with clients and subcontractors;
  • Providing commercial, contractual and procurement advice to the project management team;
  • Developing and implementing supplier management programs and benchmarking vendors;
  • Tracking and reviewing client contract conditions for projects and assisting in notice and claim preparations as required;
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and key supplier contacts in relation to contractual and procurement related matters;
  • Ensuring that all commercial activities comply with contract terms and deliverables;
  • Analysing and utilising project and subcontractor cost reports and forecasts.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A tertiary qualification in engineering, business or a legal discipline;
  • Construction industry experience from EPCM, contractor or client side;
  • Experience in planning and financial reporting with a thorough understanding of the process involving variations;
  • Thorough knowledge of contractual documentation and procedures;
  • Demonstrated experience in client and subcontractor negotiation;
  • The ability to build robust stakeholder relationships at all organisation levels;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Experience in managing a small team;
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
