**About the Role:**

Zenviron is seeking a highly motivated and experienced High Voltage Design Specialist to join our engineering team based in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality, safe, and commercially effective engineering designs for large-scale renewable energy projects.

The role offers an attractive remuneration package, commensurate with experience, estimated at around **$120,000 - $180,000 per annum**, plus benefits.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • Develop and refine HV electrical system designs for large-scale wind farms and battery energy storage systems;
  • Support electrical equipment procurement activities and coordinate suppliers/subcontractors;
  • Understand WHS responsibilities and promote health, safety, and wellbeing within the team;
  • Provide technical support to project teams and ensure designs/documentation meet relevant standards;
  • Support electrical procurement activities and provide engineering support to project electrical works.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Australian-recognised Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree;
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status with Engineers Australia or eligibility to obtain;
  • Experience in electrical infrastructure engineering design for large-scale renewable energy or high-voltage projects;
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications;
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
