As an Engineering Project Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of supporting projects across their entire lifecycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling, and risk management.

The key responsibilities of this role include spearheading project delivery by providing effective management skills to ensure that end products meet client and stakeholder expectations. You will also serve as the focal point for team collaboration and team management.

In addition, your duties will involve assisting in reviewing and negotiating contracts, reviewing executed contracts to verify timeframes, milestones, procedures, and budgets to achieve project outcomes. You will manage adequate resource allocation to ensure project delivery meets required program milestones.

You will also be responsible for managing projects in accordance with agreed-upon contract conditions, coordinating the engagement of subconsultants and subcontractors for contributions to project delivery, and reviewing and developing work procedures to improve operations or solve problems related to quality.

Furthermore, you will comply with project controls, including project scheduling to demonstrate delay and disruption, monitoring and reporting progress, cost, and productivity, project cost forecasting, and management of changes to the scope of work.

To succeed in this role, you will need a tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project management, or a relevant technical qualification, 12 years of experience, and previous success in delivering multiple/concurrent Sustaining Capital projects.
