Craft Supervisors play a vital role in construction projects, overseeing the work of skilled tradespeople and ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality standards and optimal resource allocation.

They lead teams of craft professionals, directing activities and schedules. This position demands strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to coordinate subcontract work and develop team members.

  • Lead a team of craft professionals and direct their activities and work schedules.
  • Determine workforce requirements and coordinate established operational plans.

The key responsibilities of a Craft Supervisor include:

  • Safety & Quality: Ensure compliance with specifications, schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Planning / Productivity: Determine workforce requirements and coordinate established area operational plans.
  • Leadership / Supervision: Supervise and/or direct craft activities as assigned.
  • Tools, Materials & Equipment: Monitor tool and equipment usage on site.

This is a FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) role working 3:1 roster based in Karratha, WA. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 8-10 years of relevant experience, or 12-14 years of relevant work experience. Certification in rigging engineering is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in RT, all terrain and crawler cranes, advanced technical knowledge and experience in engineering for lifting equipment, alternative heavy lifting systems, mobile gantries, jacking, tailing, rigging equipment, and load distribution systems. They must also have knowledge and understanding of project environmental, safety, and health requirements.

This position involves exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions. The candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment required for each task.
