Customer Service Host

We are seeking a passionate and friendly individual to join our team as a Customer Service Host.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, and ensuring every experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service through engaging with guests, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise;
  • Ensure seamless table service by effectively communicating with the kitchen and wait staff to deliver timely and accurate food and beverage service;
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards and protocols;
  • Assist in maintaining a high level of presentation and quality in the dining area, including polishing glassware, clearing tables, and restocking supplies;
  • Support the team in meeting sales targets, promoting specials and upselling where possible;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regular guests, recognising their preferences and tailoring experiences accordingly;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient communication and effective problem-solving.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, preferably in a similar environment;
  • Availability to work weekends, including day shifts, evening shifts, and public holidays;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues alike;
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure;
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures, including cash handling and point-of-sale systems;
  • RSA certification required; Work rights and valid RSA certificate essential for this position.
