Electrical Engineer Design Expert

We seek an experienced electrical engineer to join our team as a primary substation design expert. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for delivering high-quality design projects while working closely with clients and internal stakeholders.

About the Role

  • As a primary substation design expert, you will be responsible for leading a small team of junior staff and being accountable for the overall success of all aspects of projects assigned to you.
  • You will leverage your expertise in electrical engineering professional/technical primary or secondary substation design, particularly in high voltage (400-500KVA), to contribute to our team's success.
  • Your knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including transmission and distribution roles, will be invaluable to our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality design projects, focusing on client satisfaction and project profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and development through innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
  • Possess extensive experience in electrical engineering professional/technical primary or secondary substation design and transmission and distribution roles.
  • Have strong engineering consulting and client management skills, with a proven track record in business development.
  • Be an excellent communicator with well-developed commercial, analytical, and technical skills, and a strong client focus.
