Principal Substation Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled engineer to join our team as a Principal Substation Design Engineer. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for the design and delivery of major substation projects.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering substation design and transmission and distribution, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of major substation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement design solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders, while also considering sustainability and environmental factors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in electrical engineering substation design and transmission and distribution.
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering, with relevant postgraduate qualifications.
