About the Job

The Department for Education, Children and Young People is seeking an experienced Assistant Principal to provide educational leadership and support to the teaching staff at Port Dalrymple School.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Principal in promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic, social and emotional growth of all students.

Requirements
  • A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000
  • Qualifications as established by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award, 2005
  • Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.
What We Offer

This is a permanent, full-time position working 70 hours per fortnight. Ongoing employment will commence on 28 April 2025. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality education to our students.
