Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Support Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the operational readiness of critical armoured vehicle platforms throughout their lifecycle.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Support Analyst to contribute to the Defence Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) framework. You will be responsible for conducting Support Logistics Analysis (SLA) activities to inform logistics decision-making across acquisition and sustainment phases. This will involve collaborating with engineering, project management and Defence stakeholders to ensure that logistic support solutions are practical, cost-effective and aligned with capability requirements.

  • Conduct and document SLA to inform logistics decision-making across acquisition and sustainment phases
  • Contribute to ILS documentation, ensuring compliance with Defence requirements and integration across all Support System Constituent Capabilities (SSCCs)
  • Undertake maintenance policy and level-of-repair analysis to optimise platform availability and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide input into spares forecasting, provisioning and supply chain planning for armoured fighting vehicles and associated subsystems
  • Synergize with Defence, OEMs and industry partners to ensure seamless integration of logistic support elements into broader project and sustainment frameworks
Requirements
  • Sound knowledge of ILS practices within the Defence Acquisition Lifecycle
  • Practical experience with Supportability Analysis techniques (LORA, spares analysis, MTA)
  • Ability to develop and contribute to ILS deliverables (ILS Plans, ILS Concepts, ILSPs etc.)
  • Exposure to the ASDEFCON contracting suite
  • Understanding of risk management principles and sustainment cost modelling
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in logistics, engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent Defence experience)
  • Current AGSVA Security Clearance (NV1 or ability to obtain)
