Armoured Vehicle Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in shaping the supportability and sustainment outcomes of armoured vehicle platforms.

The Opportunity

You will collaborate with engineering, project management, and stakeholders to ensure that logistics solutions are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with capability requirements. This includes conducting and documenting Support Logistics Analysis (SLA) to inform logistics decision-making across acquisition and sustainment phases.

  • Contribute to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation, ensuring compliance with Defence requirements and integration across all Support System Constituent Capabilities (SSCCs)
  • Undertake maintenance policy and level-of-repair analysis to optimise platform availability and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide input into spares forecasting, provisioning, and supply chain planning for armoured fighting vehicles and associated subsystems
  • Support the development of Life Cycle Cost models and risk-based sustainment strategies
Requirements

Sound knowledge of ILS practices within the Defence Acquisition Lifecycle is essential, along with practical experience with Supportability Analysis techniques. You must be able to develop and contribute to ILS deliverables and have exposure to the ASDEFCON contracting suite.

A relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent Defence experience) is required, as well as current AGSVA Security Clearance (NV1 or ability to obtain).
