About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Parklife Metro, working on an exciting new metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and sequence construction activities, track costs, and manage subcontractors
  • Interface with design management and construction delivery team within the buildings team
  • Review and understand construction drawings, specifications, and method statements
  • Identify project challenges and drive the development and implementation of solutions
  • Liaise with foremen and subcontractors daily to achieve target outcomes
  • Ensure project delivery is compliant with project standards
  • Ensure works are delivered to quality standards and complete all relevant documentation
  • Participate in cost management of daily activities
  • Prepare documentation for procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Assist in the preparation of daily meetings, weekly reports, and 3-week lookahead programs
  • Monitor the progress and quality of works by conducting inspections and reporting back to the Senior Project Engineer
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree in Engineering or Project Management
  • Minimum 4+ years post-graduation as an Engineer
  • Prior experience building hospitals, data centres, bridges, multi-leveled buildings, or similar
  • Overall understanding of Quality & Design for structures, services, and buildings
  • Good understanding of working in a multi-disciplinary trade environment
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Contribute to a safe work culture and ensure works are delivered to legislative and project standards
About Us

Parklife Metro is working in partnership with the NSW Government on this exciting new metro rail infrastructure project. Our consortium comprises Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild, and we are looking to build our metro rail expertise to deliver this city-shaping project.

This project will provide a major economic stimulus for Western Sydney and will be delivered under a Public Private Partnership model.
