Tactical Skills Training Specialist

This role involves delivering training programs to instructors and correctional officers in tactical skills, firearms, and chemical agents. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal Advisor, Tactical Options to ensure high-quality training is delivered according to agency procedures and policies.
- Deliver training programs to a range of audiences including instructors and correctional officers.
- Assist with the design and implementation of instructional standards to ensure consistency across all tactical skills programs.
- Develop and review assessment activities to measure competency in the tactical skills curriculum.
- Evaluate training and assessment procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- Use data from the evaluation process to inform the development of the tactical skills training curriculum.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience in training and development, particularly in tactical skills.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
