Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Multipurpose Officer/Plant Operator in our Services and Operations team.

This position involves carrying out allocated tasks on Council roads, bridges, and road reserves, as well as Council-owned and managed land, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and budget requirements.

The successful candidate will be based at the Colac depot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual/outdoor work activities
  • Contribute to road construction/maintenance works
  • Demonstrate basic written communication skills
  • Possess OH&S Construction Induction Card/White Card or be willing to obtain prior to commencement
  • Hold a current manual drivers license
  • Hold truck and civil machinery tickets and experience would be advantageous
  • Show a positive attitude and respect when dealing with employees and customers
Benefits Package

A salary of $64,129.10 to $67,823.63 per annum, including industry allowance plus superannuation, is offered.
