About the Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant with APM, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of those who have sustained physical and psychological injuries at work.

You will lead the proactive management and prevention of injuries in the workplace, collaborating with employers and their people to minimize the impact of injuries, illness, and disability through delivery of prevention, rehabilitation, and training services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs for clients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to clients
  • Conduct workplace assessments to identify and mitigate injury risks
  • Provide training and education to employers and employees on injury prevention and rehabilitation best practices
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology
  • Current registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA / ESSA)
  • Strong clinical reasoning and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application
