The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our growing environmental initiatives. As a key member of our AU Ops Finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving sustainability and reverse logistics excellence throughout our Australian operations.
About the Role
This pivotal position involves leveraging your exceptional analytical skills and financial expertise to uncover hidden insights that propel our fulfillment network towards a more sustainable and profitable future. Your proficiency in SQL, BI tools, and financial modeling will be essential in developing sophisticated forecasts and budgets for our programs, empowering our leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Uncovering Insights, Driving Sustainability: Analyze data on returns, concessions, and waste to uncover opportunities and provide cost allocations insights to drive optimal business decisions.
- Mastering Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Develop models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and provide expert guidance on budgeting, planning, and capital expenditure.
- Collaborative Reporting and Analysis: Partner with stakeholders to provide insightful reports and recommendations, ensuring key stakeholders have the data and insights they need to make informed decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Evaluate the financial impact of new initiatives and technologies, providing ROI evaluation and entitlement for initiatives prioritization.
- Shaping Network-Level Strategy: Contribute to long-term Reverse Logistics topology planning and development.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, engineering, statistics, or mathematics.
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
