Job Title: Financial Crimes Investigator

 

About the Role:

This position is responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of complex legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies and precedents to support critical investigation activities.

 

Duties:

  • Conducting interviews, preparing statements and affidavits, collecting, securing and managing evidential material and confidential information.
  • Preparing cases and briefs of evidence for referral to relevant parties.
  • Providing expert testimony in court proceedings as a representative of the agency.
  • Producing high-quality reports based on accurate and informative data analysis.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders and external partners through formal and informal discussions.
  • Assisting with the execution of search warrants, which may require domestic travel and extended working hours.

 

Key Skills:

  • Experience in providing expert testimony in criminal or civil court proceedings.
  • Proven ability to prepare comprehensive briefs of evidence.
