Employment Coach Role Overview

This role involves providing tailored employment support to individuals, empowering them to achieve their vocational goals and build sustainable career pathways.

You will be working with a small group of participants, providing hands-on and highly consultative support, as well as mentorship and encouragement for skills development and increased capacity for work.

The role requires delivering person-centered supports to participants, some of whom may be transitioning from school to work. You will also provide on-site support once employment has commenced and assist with integration.

Additionally, you will provide support and consultation to employers.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Have current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Willing to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to obtain a Working with Children Check & NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Able to successfully complete a NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement
  • Travel as required for service delivery and support of participants
  • Available to work full time Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
