Maintenance Procurement Coordinator Job Description
Maintenance procurement coordinators play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of facilities. They are responsible for overseeing all purchasing activities related to maintenance goods and services, collaborating closely with the maintenance team to comprehend and deliver parts efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage purchasing activities for maintenance-related goods and services;
- Monitor and implement stock/parts ordering aligned with critical rating systems;
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and source parts effectively;
- Track ETA's/ETD's and coordinate with the warehouse team on receipts;
- Provide high-level purchasing support to maintain optimal stock levels.
- A strong background in inventory control or a related field is highly regarded;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience working with suppliers;
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines, with strong organizational skills;
- A proactive and forward-thinking approach, with the ability to spot risks early.
