Project Director - Civil Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead a driven and capable team delivering civil infrastructure works in rural New South Wales.

About the Role:
  • Oversee the successful delivery of a complex civil infrastructure project.
  • Collaborate with the existing team to ensure time, cost, and quality outcomes.
  • Manage and report against program (MS Project), comparing original vs current timelines.
  • Maintain commercial and contractual obligations, including variation management.
  • Liaise with clients regarding RFIs and drive design-related queries to resolution.
  • Take a leadership role across safety, quality, and environmental management.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders, including council and rural landowners.
  • Work closely with site teams (~30 people) including operators and trades.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in project management within civil infrastructure or subdivisions.
  • Strong understanding of construction delivery, project reporting, and contract tracking.
  • Practical experience with MS Project and reporting on project progress.
  • A self-starter with ability to identify necessary tasks without heavy oversight.
  • Confident dealing with field crews and clients.
  • Safety, quality, and environmental awareness, especially within rural projects.
  • Ability to operate with minimal guidance and integrate quickly into an existing team.
