Mine Site Operations Manager

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee a team of skilled professionals at a mine site, ensuring the effective implementation and utilization of MineStar technology.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of highly skilled employees responsible for managing mine site operations.
- Maintain key performance metrics including technology availability, production metrics, operating costs, fleet productivity, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the MineStar support team to report any defects, collect troubleshooting data, and implement interim corrective actions.
- Develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs, focusing on current and future requirements.
- Strategically prioritize and implement measures to address customer needs, aligning servicing and support practices with business objectives.
- Provide guidance on equipment selection, product management, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance.
- University degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience with CAT MineStar Technology is advantageous.
- Relevant experience in technology or mining fields is essential.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
This is a Fly in Fly out (FIFO) role for a client in Indonesia. The initial roster consists of 2 weeks on-site and 1 week off, followed by 3 weeks working remotely from Caterpillar Australia offices.
