Ventia, a leading infrastructure services company, is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Quality Expert to join our Defence team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Workplace/ Occupation Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene and Health, Environmental or Quality Equivalent. They must be an Australian citizen and eligible for a Defence Security Clearance. Additionally, they should possess formal training in incident investigation or be willing to undertake a 2-day training course upon commencement.

We are offering a competitive salary package of AUD $120,000 per annum, along with access to various employee benefits such as corporate travel discounts, novated leases, private health discounts, credit discounts, and more. This full-time permanent role comes with a company car and offers hybrid working opportunities.

As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing SHEQ requirements across multiple defence projects. They will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all activities are undertaken safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships. The ideal candidate will be autonomous, proactive, and able to take ownership of their work.
