Supporting Independence at Home

We are seeking compassionate and skilled individuals to provide essential care and support to clients in their own homes. Our home support workers play a vital role in helping clients regain independence and live comfortably.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Providing personal care assistance with showering, grooming, and dressing.
  • Offering social support through companionship and attending community appointments or recreational activities.
  • Assisting with capacity-building activities to increase independence.
  • Performing domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light household cleaning.

**Requirements:**

  • A National Police Check (less than a year old if not NDIS Worker Screening Check).
  • A Victorian Driver's License and comprehensively insured, registered vehicle.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or similar discipline.
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or Working with Children Check advantageous.

**What We Offer:**

SCHADS award wages with generous allowances pro rata for casual rates of home support workers. Remuneration divided into two sections: base rate for disability and aged care services, and then allowances and reimbursements.

**Selection Criteria:**

  • Registered, road-worthy, and insured vehicle.
  • Availability on specific days and times.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks listed above.
  • Alignment with company values.
  • Ability to meet compliance and qualification criteria.
  • Previous experience in similar role.
