About the Role

Job Summary

Dogue is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our grooming salon team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive workplace culture, and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day store operations, including reception and back of house.
  • Lead and motivate a team of Retail Assistants and Groomers.
  • Provide training and development to the team.
  • Maintain exceptional customer service and workplace culture.
  • Oversee inventory management and merchandising.
  • Manage staff performance.

Working Hours

FULL-TIME: Tuesday (7:30 am - 3:30 pm) – Saturday (9 am - 5 pm)

Requirements

  • Strong foundational skills in animal handling are essential.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, people management, and multitasking.
  • Preferred backgrounds include work in veterinary clinics, grooming salons, pet care stores, or boarding facilities.
  • Competent in working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management skills and resilience.
  • Able to set and achieve goals, targets, and KPIs.
  • Professional, positive attitude with a focus on excellent client experience.
  • Must be an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or a UK passport holder with a Working Holiday Visa with at least 2 years allowance.
