Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and support to the school principal in ensuring the school is a safe and positive environment where students love to learn.
- Oversee the operations of the school business and ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day and strategic operations of the school, including financial and facilities management, human resources, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and implement business plans and strategies to achieve school objectives.
- Manage and develop support and administration staff to meet business objectives.
- Monitor workflow, develop school-based procedures, and work practices.
Requirements:
- Qualification or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a business-related role and financial qualifications and/or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Xero and Sentral systems.
- Knowledge of office practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- First Aid qualification or a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
- Commitment to a high level of cultural integrity and cultural competency.
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) and Asbestos Awareness Card:
- A current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required prior to commencing this role.
- An Asbestos awareness card or a willingness to obtain Asbestos Awareness Training and evidence of completion delivered by a Registered Training Organisation is required before commencement.
