Lendlease is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead safety on a high-profile student accommodation project in Canberra. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for driving EHS performance, providing technical expertise, and implementing safety initiatives to improve our safety record.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement EHS strategies to ensure compliance with local regulations and Lendlease protocols.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate risks, and provide technical expertise to address EHS issues.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance, and implement corrective actions to improve safety outcomes.
- Provide training and guidance to staff and subcontractors on EHS procedures and protocols.
- Proven experience in an EHS Manager/Advisor role, preferably in the construction and/or engineering industries.
- Strong understanding of local health and safety regulations and legislation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the project team to achieve EHS goals.
