Animal Care Professional

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Animal Care Professionals in our Melbourne facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch care and attention to pets boarding with us, including administering food, water, and general care, conducting regular health checks, and overseeing the behaviours of groups of dogs.
About the Position- The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Administering food, water, and general care to pets in our boarding facilities
- Conducting regular health checks and ensuring the overall welfare of animals in our care
- Supervising and managing the behaviours of groups of dogs
- Providing enrichment activities through structured play and socialization
- Cleaning and maintaining the facility to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety
- Building strong relationships with pet owners and creating content to showcase their pets' experiences
- Managing administrative tasks such as answering inquiries and record-keeping
- We are looking for individuals who possess excellent communication skills, a focus on customer service, and flexibility in their work approach
- Previous experience working with animals is highly desirable but not essential
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail
- Comfortable following established routines and adhering to policies and procedures
