About the Role

The Team Leader plays an integral part in delivering high-quality care to residents at all times. This role supports the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to oversee and coordinate care for residents across the facility, ensuring that individual needs, wishes, and goals are met in a supportive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their career. The position is open to Endorsed Enrolled Nurses or Personal Care Workers with the necessary qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social and emotional support to residents, ensuring holistic and person-centred care.
  • Support the coordination of care needs for residents, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration, as well as pressure care management.
  • Lead/supervise care on the shift, within designated areas.
  • Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with qualification scope, state/territory legislation, regulation, and policies.
About You
  • Necessary qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication) OR Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines) OR Certificate III in Individual Support with willingness to undertake training to obtain required qualifications.
  • High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and use information technology and programs, as well as learn new skills as required.
  • Current National police check.
  • Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
  • A desire to work in a mission-based organisation dedicated to caring for others.
