Housekeeping Manager Job Description

Avani Melbourne Box Hill Residences is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead the housekeeping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the housekeeping team to provide an excellent cleaning service.
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident throughout the property.
  • Build a productive and professional relationship with housekeeping staff members and clients.
  • Oversee daily on-the-job training for all cleaning employees.
  • Maintain accurate financial, maintenance, and inventory records.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the management or supervision of a housekeeping team is highly regarded.
  • Experience controlling and maintaining budgets, operating supplies, replacements, and consumables.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong eye for detail and ability to follow procedures and set the standard for cleanliness.
