About the Position: Windows and Citrix Engineer

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in managing Active Directory (AD) and Domain Name System (DNS) services, with a strong emphasis on customer engagement and operational excellence.

Key Qualifications:

 Approximately 10 years of relevant experience in the field.

 ITIL V3 foundation certification or equivalent knowledge.

 Proven ability to interact effectively with clients.

 Solid background in Data Centre operations.

 Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

 Strong business acumen coupled with IT expertise.

 Proficient in strategic and analytical problem-solving.

 Experience in both Operations and Consulting roles.

 Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Technical Expertise:

 In-depth knowledge of all aspects of Active Directory management.

 Extensive experience in the installation and configuration of certificates on Windows platforms.

 Comprehensive understanding of Group Policy Object (GPO) creation and modification.

 Proven track record in vulnerability management.

 Experience in system monitoring and auditing.

 Ability to deploy, manage, and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.

 Skilled in managing data flow to and from service providers.

 Competence in selecting appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements.

 Experience in migrating on-premises workloads to cloud service providers.

 Familiarity with at least two of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP, or IBM Cloud.

 Experience in both private and public cloud environments.

 Proficient in administering Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 R2 Active Directory domains using standard Microsoft tools.

 Understanding of Flexible Single Master Operations (FSMO) roles.

 Ability to create and manage objects, shares, and groups within Active Directory.

 Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Citrix support.

 Skilled in delegating Active Directory object permissions.

 Knowledge of Microsoft Distributed File System and its replication.

 Experience managing Active Directory-integrated DNS and DHCP solutions.

 Proficient in creating and troubleshooting group policies.

 Ability to enhance Active Directory processes and automate repetitive tasks.

 Experience configuring and maintaining WSUS and/or SCCM servers.

 Strong writing skills with a proven history of producing documentation and presentations.

 Experience in developing scripted solutions using Microsoft PowerShell.

 Familiarity with the installation of ESX Servers, vCenter Server, and vSphere Client.

 Extensive knowledge of advanced features such as ESX VMOTION, SVMOTION, HA, and DRS.

 Experience in P2V and V2V migrations using VMware Converter and provisioning VMs from templates.

 Involvement in disaster recovery processes using Site Recovery Manager (SRM).

 Conducting health checks for VMs and ESX hosts.

 Experience in enterprise-level Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) administration.

 Proficient in managing enterprise-level Active Directory sites and services.

 Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Active Directory trust relationships.

 Familiarity with LDAP configuration and troubleshooting.
