About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite and on-call assistance to end-users within the organization's desktop computing environment, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Engage in workshops with customers to architect end-to-end solutions, with hands-on experience setting up, maintaining, and expanding large-scale heterogeneous environments.
  • Develop processes, procedures, and technical documentation for the management of Citrix environments.
  • Monitor and report on system and application health, and consult with application owners to install and tune their applications.
  • Provide technical support, configuration, and administration of Citrix and Windows Server environments as required.
  • Assist with architectural design to improve reliability, performance, and efficiencies, and respond to situations where standard procedures have failed.
  • Establish strong working relationships with key staff members in departments.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7+ years' experience as a Wintel Engineer/Architect with an outstanding track record of progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and multi-task with minimal supervision.
  • Current certifications with Cisco, Citrix, and Microsoft required.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP and OSI model.
  • 6+ years' experience in architecting, designing, migrating, troubleshooting, and implementing Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and XenServer technologies.
  • 2+ years' experience in performing configuration, testing, and implementation of Citrix NetScaler HA and LB.
  • 10+ years of Network, Storage, and Infrastructure experience.
  • A strong understanding of leading manufacturers' routing and switching architecture, and experience with storage and virtualization products from leading manufacturers.
  • Must demonstrate a strong understanding of Converged Infrastructure concepts.
  • Appsense, Microsoft SCCM, PowerShell, VMWare, and Hyper-V experience preferred.
