About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Onsite Rental Group in Mackay, QLD. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining our assets on customer sites, ensuring they are in good working condition and meeting our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform mechanical inspections, servicing, and repairs on our equipment in the field and in our workshop as required.
  • Logistics and Administration: Ensure all jobs are logged in our service module and complete daily paperwork.
  • Parts Management: Monitor and record parts usage to optimize inventory and reduce waste.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong working relationships with our customers, providing excellent customer service and support.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A mechanical trade qualification and a current driver's license are essential.
  • Skills: Sound diagnostic, fault-finding, and problem-solving skills, as well as great communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work unsupervised in the field and participate in an on-call roster.
