Job Description
A Trainee Livestock Buyer role has become available within our organisation. This position is perfect for an individual who wants to grow their career in procurement and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, keenly interested in the livestock industry and have some demonstrated experience or exposure to the livestock supply chain.

About You
We are looking for a motivated and professional individual with strong skills in project planning, coordination, analysis and interpretation of data. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills that support effective collaboration across teams.

Your Responsibilities
This Trainee Livestock Buyer role will involve assisting with livestock purchasing execution to meet supply, specification and price targets. The successful candidate will work closely with the Livestock team to support the end-to-end supply chain process. Key responsibilities include supporting the development of livestock programs that align with sales demand and customer expectations, contributing to the coordination of livestock logistics and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within the Livestock Central system.
