We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the end-to-end supply chain process, maximising value creation through effective execution of our livestock procurement strategy.

  • Assist with purchasing execution to meet supply, specification, and price targets
  • Support development of programs aligning with sales demand and customer expectations
  • Contribute to coordinating logistics to achieve production schedules and targets
  • Liaise with Coordinators to align procurement and scheduling with production planning
  • Monitor, review, and report on pricing trends considering key market drivers
  • Support development and maintenance of feedlot costing models for cost-effectiveness and transparency
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the Livestock Central system
  • Facilitate professional and efficient information flow between Procurement and internal/external stakeholders
  • Actively participate in meetings and forums related to procurement and industry discussions
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong project planning, coordination, and completion skills
  • Experience preparing and delivering clear presentations tailored to various audiences
  • Confidence in analysing and interpreting data for sound decision-making
  • High emotional intelligence with strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
